Vacancies- For ASl (Stenographer) & HC (Ministerial)
Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) invites application for Male/Female candidates for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) & Head Constables (Ministerial) in border security force Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India. The Posts are temporary but likely to become Permanent. The detail of these posts is as under:

For the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer) – 82
For the posts of Head Constables (Ministerial) – 304
Total No. of Posts: 386
Educational Qualification:
For ASI (Stenographer) & HC(Ministerial) – 12th from the recognized Board/Institution OR Intermediate OR Matriculation with three years diploma in Secretarial Practice, Modern Office Practice , Commercial Practice from the recognized Board/institution.
For ASI (Stenographer): A minimum speed of short hand 70wpm in English OR Hindi for 10 mins. Transcribe of Dictation in English in 60 min. on computer & transcribe of Dictation in Hindi in 75 min
For HC (Ministerial) – 30wpm in English OR 25 30wpm in Hindi on Computers.
Age Criteria for Posts:
Minimum age 18yrs & Maximum age 25yrs.
Application Fees:
Rs. 50/- as an examination fee in favour of authority to whom the application is addressed payable at SBI/Post Office. For SC/ST/Women category candidate are not to pay any fee for the post.
How to Apply:
The Application form must be filled by the candidate. The envelop containing the application form must be subscribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR (STENOGRAPHER) OR HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL) IN BORDER SECURITY FORCE-2012”. The candidate will have to apply separate for each post.
Last date of Application form is 3 Dec. 2012 (30 days from the date of Publication in Employment News DT 3 Nov. 2012)
