Eligibility Criteria for Vacancies of Inspectors (Grade-B) in Punjab Food & Civil Supplies
Educational Qualification (as on 30.9.2013):
The Candidate should be Graduate from a recognized University or Institution or its equivalent qualification & the candidate should have passed Punjabi Languages subject up to Matric standard.
Age Limit (as on 30.9.2013):
1) For General Candidates – 18 Yrs – 38 yrs
2) For SC/BC Candidates - 18 Yrs – 43 yrs
3) For Physically Candidates - 18 Yrs – 48 yrs
4) For Applicant already in Govt Services - 18 Yrs – 45 yrs
5) For Widows, Divorcees & other category women - 18 Yrs – 42 yrs
(Relaxation in age as per Punjab Govt. rules)
Processing Fees (Non-Refundable):
a) For SC/BC Category Candidates: Rs. 200/- Only (Rupees Two Hundred Only).
b) For All other including General Category: Rs. 800/- (Rupees Eight Hundred only)
The requisite fee should be deposit in any branch of the State Bank of palatial in Favour of Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Punjab.
Pre-Requisite Qualification:
The selection will be based on the written examination only. There will be no interview. The merit will be prepares on the basis of result of written examination. The question paper will be provided in both English & Punjabi. It will have 150 questions each carrying one mark as per the detail mentioned below:

1) The candidates are required to apply Online through Department of Food, Civil Supplied & Consumer Affairs, Punjab website www.foodsuppb.nic.in. No other mode of application will be accepted.
2) The candidate should Click on the link 'Recruitment of Inspectors 2013'. Further click on the sub link 'Online Application' to open the appropriate Online Application form.
3) Click on the Bank Challan & take the print out of the Challan form.
4) Candidate should deposit their fee in any Branch of the State Bank of Patiala.
5) The applicant upload the scanned copies of the Photograph, Signatures & Bank Challan.
6) Recheck all the details filled by the candidates in the online application form & Click on the 'Submit' Button to complete the online process.
7) The candidates should take two print out of the Online Application Form for future use.
