Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) Recruitment 2013-14 for Various Vacancies - Apply Online

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) attained state hood on 25th January, 1971. Prior this date the function of the Public Service Commission in respect of the civil services & posts in connection with the affairs of the Union Territory of Himachal Pradesh were being discharged by the Union Public Service Commission under article 315 of the constitution of India. It was therefore, incumbent of the state to have its own Public Service commission. Since, a state Public Service Commission could be constituted simultaneously with the attainment of statehood, the UPSC on a request from the Governor of the state of Himachal Pradesh with the approval of the president of India, agreed to serve the needs of Himachal pradesh till the establishment of a Public Service Commission for the state or for a period of three months from 25th January, 1971 which ever was earlier.

HPPSC invites Online Recruitment Applications from the desirous & eligible candidate’s for the recruitment to various posts in various departments of Himachal Pradesh Govt up to 11^th November 2013. The detail information for these Vacancies are mentioned below:

1) Department of Health & Family Welfare

a) For Medical Officer – 69

Educational Qualification: Recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 Yrs.

b) Drugs Inspector – 06

Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Pharma or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a post Graduate Degree in Chemistry with pharmaceutics as essential subject of an University established in India or its equivalent qualification recognized by the central Govt.

                                             OR

Bachelor Degree in Science or Graduate in Medicine from an recognized University.

2) Department of Technical Education

a) Lecturer in Civil Engineering – 10

b) Lecturer in Electrical Engineering – 07

c) Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering – 08

d) Lecturer in Electronics & Communication Engineering – 02

Educational Qualification from (A to D): First Class Bachelor Degree in appropriate Branch of Engineering/Technology or equivalent qualification form a recognized University.  

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 45 Yrs & Below.

e) Lecturer in Pharmacy – 01

Educational Qualification: First Class Master Degree in appropriate Branch of specialization in Pharmacy from a recognized University.  

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 45 Yrs & Below.

f) Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering (Class-I) – 01

Educational Qualification: First Class Master Degree in appropriate Branch of Engineering/Technology or form a recognized University.

First Class Bachelor Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology or equivalent Valid GATE score minimum 75%.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 45 Yrs & Below.

3) Department of MPP & Power, H.P

a) Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – 31

Educational Qualification: A full time Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering form a recognized University/Institution approved by the AICTE or AMIE or from Institution of Engineers. 

Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 Yrs.

b) Assistant Engineer (IT) – 02

Educational Qualification: A full time Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering & Information Technology or its equivalent form a recognized University/Institution approved by the AICTE or AMIE or from Institution of Engineers.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 Yrs.

c) Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 08

d) Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) – 02

Educational Qualification (C & D): A full time Bachelor Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution approved by the AICTE or AMIE or from Institution of Engineers or from Institution of Engineers.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 Yrs.

e) Accounts Officer (Class-I) – 01

Educational Qualification: A recognized Degree from an ICWA or CA institutes of Charted Accountants of India.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 Yrs.

4) Department of Town & Country Planning

a) Assistant Town Planner – 07

Educational Qualification: M.Tech Degree in Urban/City/Town/Religion Planning form a University/Institute recognized by the H.P Govt/Central Govt..

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 45 Yrs & Below.

b) Planning Officer – 01

c) Sr. Planning Draughtsman – 01

Educational Qualification (B to C): B.Tech Degree in Urban/City/Town/Religion Planning form an University/Institute recognized by the H.P Govt/Central Govt.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 45 Yrs & Below.

 

5) Department of Public Works

a) Assistant Engineer (Civil) – 01

Educational Qualification: A candidate must have a Degree of Civil Engineering or its equivalent qualification from a University/Institute recognized by the State Govt/Central Govt. 

Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 Yrs.

b) Assistant Director (Physics & Ballistic) – 01

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have the Second class Master's Degree in Physics/Mathematics/Forensic Science or equivalent qualification recognized University.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 Yrs.

c) Assistant District Attorney – 20

Educational Qualification: Professional Degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized University.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 35 Yrs & Below.

6) Department of Industries

a) Geologist (Class-I) – 01

Educational Qualification: M.Sc Degree in Geology or Applied Geology from a recognized University/Institution duly approved by the Central Govt/H.P Govt OR Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian Schools of Mines.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 45 Yrs & Below.

7) Department of Excise & Taxation

a) Law Officer – 01

Educational Qualification: Professional Degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized University.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 45 Yrs.

8) Department of Labour & Employment

a) Assistant Director of Factories – 01

Educational Qualification: Degree in Chemical Engineering from any Institution/Board/University recognized by the Central/State Govt. or its equivalent qualification.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 45 Yrs & Below.

9) Department of Medical Education

a) Radiation Safety Officer – 01

Educational Qualification: A Post Graduate Degree in Physics from a recognized University OR A Post M.Sc Diploma in Radiology/Medical Physics from a recognized University.

                                          OR

A Basic Degree in Science from a recognized University, with Physics as one of the main subject or Post Graduate Degree in Radiological/Medical Physics from a recognized university.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 45 Yrs & Below.

10) Department of Ayurveda

a) Medical Officer (Homeopathic) – 03

Educational Qualification: 10+2 or its equivalent examination form Board/University recognized by the Central/State Govt. OR Degree in Homeopathy for 5 & half years duration form a recognized University/Board/Institution recognized by the Central/State Govt. mentioned in the 2^nd & 3^rd schedule of the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 & should be registered with the Central Homeopathy Council/ Homeopathy Council of Himachal Pradesh.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate is 45 Yrs & Below.

Total No. of Vacancies – 186 Vacancies

Examination Fees:

1) For General Category – Rs. 400/- Only

2) For SC/ST/OBC of H.P State – Rs. 100/- Only.

3) For EXSM of H.P – No fee should be paid.

The candidates deposit the requisite fee at any branch of Punjab National Bank through an e-challan generated through the website.

How to Apply:

The desirous candidates must apply online through the website www.hp.gov.in/hppsc. Applications received through any other mode will be summarily rejected. The candidates who wish to apply more than one post should apply separately for each post & pay the fee for each post in the prescribed manner. After submitting the Online Application (ORA), the candidates are required to take the printout of the final submitted Online Recruitment Application.
