Educational Qualification:

1) For Trainee Engineer Civil/Electrical/Mechanical: A Regular Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B. Sc in (Engineering) Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE or AMIE (Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

2) For Trainee Engineer (Environment): A Regular Bachelor Degree in B.E/B.Tech (Environmental Engineering) Degree  from a recognized  Indian University  or Institute approved by AICTE  with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

3) For Trainee Engineer (HR): A Regular two year Post Graduate Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Post Graduate Program in Management with specialization in Human Resource/Human Resources Management/ Human Resources Management & Labour Relations/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management/Personal Management & Industrial Relations/Industrial Relations & Personnel Management.
                                   OR
A Regular two year Masters in Social Work with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations.
                                   OR
A Full time two years Masters of Human Resources & Organizational Developments (MHROD).
                                    OR
A Regular two year MBA with specialization in Human Resource from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE  with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

4) For Trainee Officer (Finance): Graduate with CA from Institute of Charted Accountants of India/CWA or CMA from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

5) For Trainee Officer (Geology): A Regular M.Sc Geo/M. Tech in Applied Geology (the candidate should have studied Geology with Physics or Math’s at Graduation level from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

6) For Medical Officer: MBBS from a valid registration.

7) For Assistant Rajbhasha Officer: Master Degree from a recognized Indian University in Hindi with English as an elective subject at degree level or  Master Degree from a recognized Indian University in English with Hindi as an elective subject at degree level.

8) For Hindi Translator: Master Degree from a recognized Indian University in Hindi with English as an elective subject at degree level or  Master Degree from a recognized Indian University in English with Hindi as an elective subject at degree level.

Application Fees: The candidate belonging to General & OBC (NCL) category are required to pay Rs. 250/- only. The SC/ST/PWD category candidates need not to pay the registration fee. The S.B.I has been authorized to collect the fees in an opened a/c no. 31713133703 at CAG Branch, New Delhi on behalf of NHPC.

Maximum Age Limit (as on 1.10.13): The Maximum age is 30 yrs from S.No. 1 to 8 & 12, 33 Yrs for S.No. 9 & 35 yrs form S.No. 10 & 11.

How to Apply:
1) The candidates visit the website www.nhpcindia.com & click on the Link ‘Career’..

2) The candidate should read all the instructions carefully which was given on the website.

3) Fill the online application form with the relevant details & Click on the ‘Submit’ Button.

4) Take the printout of the Registration form generated by the system with unique Registration Number.

5) The candidate should send duly signed printout of registration form generated after online registration with properly affixed & self attested photograph along with self attested copies of the documents mentioned in the Notification.

6) The candidate should be subscribed with advertisement number, Post applied for & Category (Gen/SC/ST/PWD) & should be sent by ordinary post to ‘P.O Box No. 264 at Amar Nagar Post Office, Faridabad – 121003 (Haryana)’ & should be reach on or before 26th November 2013. The applications received without the documents will be rejected.
