Eligibility Criteria for ASI (RM), HC (RO), HC (Fitter)
Educational Qualification:
1) For ASI (RM): Matriculation with 3yrs Diploma in Radio & TV technology
OR Electronics OR Telecommunication OR Computer OR Electrical/Mechanical Engineering OR Domestic Appliances from any institution recognized by the Central Govt. OR State Govt.
OR
10+2 intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of 50% with selective subject being Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics form a recognized Board/University/Institution.
2) For HC (RO): Matriculation OR equivalent & Two years Two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio & TV or Electronics or intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution.
3) For HC (Fitter): Matriculation OR equivalent from recognized Board/Institution &Two years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic from an institution recognized by the Central Govt. OR State Govt or intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution.
Age Criteria:
a) Not below than 18yrs OR over 25yrs as on 30 Sep 2013 for General Category.
b) Not below than 18yrs OR over 28yrs as on 30 Sep 2013 for OBC category.
c) Not below than 18yrs OR over 30yrs as on 28Feb 2013 for SC/ST category.

Application/Intimation Fees (Non refundable):
The application should be accompanied by a Cross Bank Draft/Indian Postal Order for Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty Only) for General & OBC Candidates as the examination fee in favour of Inspector General/DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/Post Office. No Fee for SC/ST/BSF serving personnel & female Candidates of all categories.

1) Self- attested photocopies of educational certificates & date of Birth Certificates.
2) Three recent Pass port size photographs, duly self-attested, one each should be pasted on application form & admission card & third is to be attached with application form.
3) Two self addressed envelopes of 25*12 cms size with full postal address of the candidate that should be written on the envelop in Capital Letters duly affixed stamps of Rs. 27/- on each.
4) The envelop containing the application must be mentioned in bold letters as under “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASI/RM AND HC (RO)/HC/FITTER”
5) In case the candidates do not receive Admit Card before Five days of commencement of recruitment, they should contact the center personally or telephonically where they have sent the application.
