Eligibility Criteria for South Malabar Gramin Bank (SMGB)
Age Limit (as on 1-6-2012):
i) For Officer JMG (Scale-I) (Assistant Managers) - Above 18yrs but below 28yrs

ii) For Officer MMG (Scale-II) (Managers) - Above 21yrs but below 32yrs

iii) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Below 18yrs & 28yrs
(Relaxation in age as per Govt. rules)

Educational Qualification (as on 1.6.2012):
1) For Officer in JMG (Scale-I) (Assistant Managers):  Bachelor degree from a recognized university in any discipline or equivalent & Proficiency in local language should be must.
2) For Officer in MMG (Scale-II) (Managers): Degree from a recognized University in any discipline OR its equivalent with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
3) For a Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Bachelor degree from a recognized university in any discipline or equivalent & Proficiency in local language should be must.

Application Fees/Intimation chg’s (Non-Refundable):

a) For Officer (Scale-I & II): Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD Candidates & Rs. 100/- for EXS & all others candidates.

b) For Office Assistant: Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM Candidates & Rs. 100/- for all others.

How to Apply:
1) The candidates are required to apply Online through Bank website between 11.7.2013 to 27.7.2013. No other means of application will be accepted.

2) Applicants are first required to go to the Bank’s website & Click on the link “Recruitment /Careers” & thereafter, recruitment Notification opens.

3) The candidates should take the printout of the fee payment challan. Fill the fee challan in Block Letters.

4) The candidates can pay the application fee in any of the branches of SOUTH MALABAR GRAMIN BANK OR CANARA BANK Only. 

5) After all this revisits the bank website again to open the appropriate online application format. Then, fill all the details carefully mentioned in that format & at the last click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the process. The candidates can also pay their through CBS Account:
