Eligibility Criteria for Madhya Bihar Gramin Bank (MBGB)
Educational Qualification (as on 1.6.2012):
1) For Officer Scale-I: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR its equivalent.Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing & Co-operation, Information Technology, Management Law, Economics & Accountancy. Proficiency in Local Language
2) For Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): Degree in any discipline form recognized University Or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing & Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics & Accountancy.
3) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR its equivalent. The candidate must have the knowledge of local language.
Processing Fee (Non-Refundable):
a) For Officer (Scale-I& II): Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD Candidates & Rs. 100/- for all others.
b) For Office Assistant: Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM Candidates & Rs. 100/- for all others.
Age Limit (as on 1-6-2012):
1) For Officer (Scale-I) - Above 18Yrs - Below 28yrs
2) For Officer (Scale-II) - Above21yrs - Below 28yrs
3) For Office Assistant - Between 18yrs & 28yrs

1) The candidates are required to apply Online through Bank website www.mbgbpatna.com No other means of payment will be accepted.
2) Click on the link “Recruitment /Careers” & then a recruitment Notification opens.
3) The candidates should take the printout of the fee payment challan. Fill the fee challan in Block Letters & go to the any nearest branches of Punjab National Bank Only.
4) After all this Procedure the candidates revisit the Bank website again to open the appropriate online application format.
5) Then, fill all the details carefully mentioned in that format & at the last Click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the process. The candidates can also pay their through CBS/NEFT.
