Eligibility Criteria for Vananchal Gramin Bank (VGB)
Educational Qualification (as on 1.6.2012):
1) For Officer Scale-I: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR its equivalent.
Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/Diploma in Banking, Finance Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agriculture Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing & Co-Operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics & Accountancy. Proficiency in Local language (Hindi) & Computer Knowledge will be added Qualification.
2) For Officer Scale-II (General Banking): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/Diploma in Banking, Finance Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agriculture Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing & Co-Operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics & Accountancy.
3) For Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer): MBA in Marketing from any reputed Institute.
4) For Officer Scale-II (Treasury Officer): Candidate should be Charted Accountant or MBA in Finance from reputed Institute.
5) For Officer Scale-II (Agriculture Officer): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agriculture Engineering, Pisciculture.
6) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR its equivalent. The candidate must have the knowledge of computers & local language.
Age Limit (as on 1-6-2012):
a) For Officer (Scale-I) - Above 18Yrs - Below 28yrs
b) For Officer (Scale-II) - Above 21Yrs - Below 32yrs
c) For Office Assistant - Between 18yrs & 28yrs

For Officer (Scale-I & II): Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD Candidates & Rs. 100/- for all others.

3) The candidates should take the printout of the fee payment challan. Fill the fee challan in Block Letters.
4) Then, go to the any nearest branches of Vanchal Gramin Bank as well as through NEFT from any other Bank.
5) After all this the candidate revisits the bank website again to open the appropriate online application format. Then, fill all the details carefully mentioned in that format & at the last click the submit button to complete the process. The candidates can also pay their through CBS/NEFT.
