Educational Qualification (as on 1.6.2012):
1) For Officer (Scale-I): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR its equivalent. The preference will be given to those having Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing & Co-orperation Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics & Accountancy & candidate must have the knowledge of computers & local language.

2) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR its equivalent. The candidate must have the knowledge of computers & local language.

Age Limit (as on 1-6-2012):
For Officer (Scale-I) - Above 18Yrs - Below 28yrs
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Between 18yrs & 28yrs
 (Relaxation in age as per Govt. rules)

Processing Fee (Non-Refundable):
1) For Officer (Scale-I & II): Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD Candidates & Rs. 100/- for all others.
2) For Office Assistant: Rs. 20/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM Candidates & Rs. 100/- for all others.

How to Apply:
The candidates have to visit the bank website to apply Online through www.pgbgorakhpur.com Applicants are first go to the Bank website &  Click on the link “Recruitment /Careers” & then a recruitment Notification opens. The candidates should take the printout of the fee payment challan. There are two fee challan for each category:

a) For Officer (Scale-I)
1) Purvanchal Bank-01
2) State Bank of India-01

b) For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
1) Purvanchal Bank-02
2) State Bank-02
 
The candidates should download one of the challan forms as applicable for the post applied for. Fill the fee challan in Block Letters. Candidates can pay application fee in any of the branches of the State Bank of India or Purvanchal Gramin Bank Only. After all this revisit the bank website again to open the appropriate online application format. Then, fill all the details carefully mentioned in that format & at the last click the submit button to complete the process. The candidates can also pay their through CBS/NEFT.
