Applications are invited for the citizens of India for appointment to Group 'A' post of Specialist Medical Officers(Deputy Commandant), Medical Officers (Asst. Commandant) and Dental Surgeon in Central Armed Police Forces (BSF,CRPF,ITBP,SSB and Assam Riffles), Ministry of Home Affairs and Govt. of India. On joining, a candidate shall be governed by the act an Rules, as applicable to which organization he is allotted after selection and amended from time to time. PAY SCALE:
For Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- plus Grade pay Rs.6,600/- per month plus other benefits like Non Practicing Allowances, Dearness allowances, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance and any other allowances as admissible under Rules would be admissible as per the Central Government orders/provision in existence and as amended from time to time. No Post Graduate allowance will be admissible as the basic essential qualification for the post is Post Graduate degree/diploma in a particular field of specialization.
Qualification/Experience
a) For Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant)
1. Recognized medical qualification of alopathic system of medicines include in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical council act,1956. Holders of the Educational Qualification include in part-II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical council act,1956.
2. Completion of compulsory rotation Internship.
3. Should also Possess Post Graduation Degree/Diploma in the Concerned.specialty mentioned in the section 'A' or in Section 'B' in schedule-I..
b) For Medical Officers (Asst. Commandant)
1. Recognized medical qualification of alopathic system of medicines include in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical council act,1956. Holders of the Educational Qualification include in part-II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical council act,1956.
2. Completion of compulsory rotation Internship. Candidates who may be under going the rotating internship shall be eligible to apply and appear for the interview provided that if selected, they shall have satisfactory complete the Internship before appointment.
C) For Dental Surgeon (Asst. Commandant)
1. A degree of Dental Surgeon from a recoganised University/Institution include in the schedule to the dentist act,1948 (16 of 1948).
2. Should be registered for the Dental council of India
3. Candidate should have minimum 60% marks in aggregate in BDS exams.
4. Candidate should have cleared all BDS Subject in first attempt.
5. Post Degree work experience will be given preference.
